About Mina Ashiro
Mina grew up in Yokohama where a devastating Kaiju attack destroyed her home and killed her pet cat. In the wake of this tragedy, she and her childhood friend Kafka Hibino made a pact to join the Defense Force together. While Kafka initially struggled and failed, Mina excelled in combat and rose rapidly through the military ranks. She eventually became the Captain of the 3rd Division and a national icon of hope for the Japanese public. Despite her success, she spent years carrying the weight of her childhood promise alone while waiting for Kafka's return.
