About Brook
Brook was born in the West Blue and initially served as a high-ranking officer and musician in a certain kingdom's military force before becoming a pirate. He joined the Rumbar Pirates as their musician, where he quickly became a beloved member known for his unique musical talent and gentlemanly demeanor. The Rumbar Pirates encountered Laboon, a large whale calf, and promised to return to him after sailing the Grand Line, leaving him at Reverse Mountain. While navigating the Florian Triangle, the entire crew was afflicted with an incurable illness, eventually dying one by one from poison or the disease itself. Brook, having consumed the Yomi Yomi no Mi (Revive-Revive Fruit), died but his soul took too long to find his body, which had fully decomposed into a skeleton. He spent 50 years drifting alone on the ghost ship in the Florian Triangle, haunted by the memories of his crew and unable to escape the mysterious fog. His long solitude only ended when he encountered the Straw Hat…
